New blog, same old habbits.
I’m still pretty new to the world of Mass Effect, in fact I only just started playing it last year, but I have played all three games in the Saga, with the same Shepard. So, despite my late entry I have had the full experience… and, like a lot of fans, I am extremely upset with the ending of this game.
Oh my gosh, how I love this game!! The more I play it the more I love it and the less I miss WoW, which is rather sad, I do miss my Guild and the people I met there, but we say connected with Facebook and I’ll end up back there anyway, I’m sure.

Its almost been a year since I posted my beta review of Cataclysm, so I figured now was as good a time as any to go back over what I said, what has changed, and what hasn’t.

I’m not sure if I should place a Spoiler Alert here… I haven’t, at this moment, done anything ground breaking in the story-line and its pretty much already out there. So, no spoiler warning… but I might spoil things accidentally and for that, I am sorry.

Ooo, I’m slow off the mark on this one… and that being said this wont be a long review. It wasnt that I didnt like the game, I found it interesting to a point. I guess it lost me with its trying to be… five games in one. If it had of suck to the first person, running around view, or the RTS type of buildingness it would have been a much better game. I guess the customizeation makes up for it a little, but once you build your spaceship and head off, I got extreamly bored, its supposed to be the climax of the game, and it was just…meh. I really didnt care about all those other planets and aliens, I just wanted to build my cities, and I even didnt get much say in that.
So… It still sits on my quickstart bar, and maybe, if I get bored enough one day, I might click it and start playing again, but I dont find it very likely.

I think its pretty common knowledge in Australia at the moment that the Wiggles (extremely popular Children’s entertainment group) are running a comp for Adults (or large children as I like to think of myself) to find a “Fifth Wiggle” to preform with them on their 2oth anniversary tour (that’s right, the Wiggles and I were “Born” on the same year, and, as I am lead to believe, the same DAY.) So I entered;
That sounds a little foreboding, doesnt it? lol – But the fact of the matter is, in nine days I will have left my teenage years behind… But I wonder if that really means anything. When you turn thirteen (or ten, what ever way you want to look at it) its made out to be some big, awesome thing. But being a Teenager sucks, lol. I dont think I know one person that really had “good” teenage years, they say you’re supposed to look back on those years and think they were the best of your life… I know I’m only young, but I dont think I’ll do that, but I have had pretty rough ones.
Its the end, maybe… possibly… Who knows as far as the Master known as Joanne Rowling is concerned. Still, I am sad but happy. At first, I didnt want anything to do with the world of Harry Potter, I thought it was just some fad that would pass with time… that was until my Mum (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!) took me to see Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone during a Melbourne holiday and the rest, as they say, is history. (And Harry Potter isnt the first of my obsessions for this to have happened with.)

Time to update I suppose;
Not a lot in my life has changed, which its kinda depressing, now that I am well-ish again I’d like to be able to go out into the world and actually contribute and not live off Government benefits, and, even though this might surprise some people, actually not spend all day, every day playing World of Warcraft or Dragon Age.
I am trying to work on that; but I have so many things I would like to try and do that my plan changes almost weekly (Right now I’m looking at ITC courses at TAFE) but give it a week and I’ll have changed my mind completely again. I guess I just want to get as many experiences as I can…
